Ero stata al lago di Bolsena a febbraio, solo di passaggio: giusto una breve sosta per scattare qualche foto che vi ho poi mostrato qualche giorno dopo
in un brevissimo post.
Lunedì scorso, finita la visita ad Ischia di Castro, abbiamo deciso di andare a mangiare a Bolsena... Magari proprio sul lungolago!
Lungo la strada abbiamo fatto una breve tappa a Capodimonte per osservare la calma del lago... Che spettacolo!!! Il panorama e la tranquillità del lago hanno dato veramente spettacolo.
Dopo aver scattato qualche foto siamo risaliti in macchina per andare verso Bolsena e parcheggiamo in un parcheggio (a pagamento) proprio sul lungolago e ci facciamo una passeggiata proprio lungo il lago.
Troviamo un bar con i tavoli sulla spiaggia, ordiniamo i panini e poi ce li mangiamo in tutta tranquillità. Ci incamminiamo sulla spiaggia e arriviamo fino al piccolo porto: perchè non sdraiarsi sugli scogli a farsi scaldare un po' dal sole? Ecco, io sarei rimasta li tutto il giorno!
Non so trovare le migliori parole per descrivervi la pace che si prova stando li ad osservare quel panorama, posso solo dirvi he, se siete in zona, dovete assolutamente farci una sosta (anche breve). Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate voi di questo lago.

I had been to Lake Bolsena in February, just passing through: just a brief stop to take some pictures.On Monday, after the visit to Ischia di Castro, we decided to go to eat in Bolsena. Maybe right on the lakefront! Along the way we made a quick stop at Capodimonte to observe the calm of the lake... What a sight!
After taking some photos we got back in the car to go towards Bolsena and parked in a car park (for a fee) right near to the waterfront and we just take a walk along the lake.
We found a bar with tables on the beach, we ordered two sandwiches and then we eat them in peace. We walk on the beach and we arrived to the little harbor: you can not resist to lie down on the rocks to get heat from the sun! I would have stayed there all day there!!
I can not find the best words to describe the peace that you can find there according to observe the landscape, I can only tell you if you are in the area, you should definitely get there for a break (even short). Let me know what you think of this lake.
